Award-winning author and business/life coach, Angie Mattson Stegall will present a 2-hour workshop for those interested in growth and new perspectives on Sunday, January 13 at 2:00 p.m. The event will feature concepts in her new book Notes from Nature: Gentle Instructions for Nurturing Your Relationship with the Natural World. Participants will learn to tune to their inner voices by letting nature take the lead. The workshop will be ideal for business owners, professionals, and anyone seeking insights for personal growth.
Stegall has discovered, through a life deliberately designed around time spent in nature, that nature gives her answers, messages, signs, and even gifts. “When my heart is heavy, when I’m feeling detached from my true self, or when I’m struggling with life or business, disconnecting from ‘normal life’ and reconnecting to nature is my path to wisdom,” Stegall explains.
Using silence, time in nature, and powerful questions, Stegall will help participants tune in to their inner voices, which will help reveal where they are stuck in their thinking and actions, where they are holding themselves back, and what patterns keep them from getting what they say they want. These answers can inform participants’ decision-making and planning, both personally and professionally, provoking change in powerful and unexpected ways.
Sponsored by the Center for Spiritual Wisdom and featuring artwork by local artist Nancy E. Richards, this event is being held at Elk Haven Wellness Center, 100 Elks Road, Brevard, NC from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Check-in begins at 1:30 pm. Attendees should dress to be outdoors for brief periods, no matter the weather.
